Isabel León Sanz is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Theology, University of Navarra, with a focus on Systematic Theology. She holds dual PhDs from the Complutense University of Madrid (Philosophy) and the University of Navarra (Theology, with an extraordinary award), and a degree in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Navarra. Her research spans ethics, medieval hermeneutics, and the theology of beauty and creation.

As a member of the LOGOS-Patristic and Medieval Hermeneutics research group and the Institute of Medieval Studies, she investigates intersections of Senecan Stoicism, St. Bonaventure's thought, and metaphysics of the Logos. Her awards include the 2017 Marco Arosio Prize and recognition through the University of Navarra's teaching quality evaluation system (2016/17-2021/22).
