Dr. Isabel Hufschmidt is a Senior Fellow at the University of Münster’s Centre for Advanced Study, focusing on “Access to Cultural Goods in Digital Change”. She holds a PhD in art history from the University of Cologne (2009) and has held roles as a Research Fellow at the Henry Moore Institute, curator at Museum Folkwang, and Senior Scientist at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Her work addresses provenance research, museum historiography, digital AI integration in cultural institutions, and decolonial methodologies.

- Research Interests: Museum deconstruction of Eurocentrism, gender equality in historiography, AI applications in cultural heritage, and queer/digital methodologies.
