Dr Isabel Hanson is a General Practitioner, primary care academic, and health policy consultant affiliated with the Sydney Medical School at the University of Sydney. She is currently pursuing a DPhil in Primary Care at the University of Oxford and works as an affiliate clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney.

Research interests focus on primary care, child and adolescent health, mental health, Aboriginal health equity, health policy, translational health sciences, and social determinants of health. Her work also addresses obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, reproductive health, maternal and child health, neurosciences, ethics, qualitative research, and philosophy of medicine.
