Irmi Schewe-Miller is an Associate Professor of Teaching in the Department of Chemistry at Iowa State University. She holds a Diplom in Chemistry (cum laude, 1987) from RWTH Aachen, Germany, and a PhD (summa cum laude, 1990) from the University of Stuttgart. Her postdoctoral research included work at Iowa State University’s Department of Chemical Engineering and the Ames Laboratory, focusing on Solid State Chemistry and novel materials.
