Irina Bouianova

Irina Bouianova is a Professor and Head of Unit in the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (IFM) at Linköping University, Sweden. She leads research in the Functional Electronic Materials unit, focusing on advanced semiconductor materials for next-generation electronic and photonic applications.

Research Interests: Her work centers on semiconductor physics, spintronics, nanomaterials, and functional electronic materials. Key areas include exciton dynamics in nanowires, defect passivation via hydrogenation, and room-temperature spin transport in quantum structures.
