Irena Šapić

Irena Šapić is a Researcher at the Department of Forestry, Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, University of Zagreb. She holds a PhD in Biotechnical Sciences (2012) and a graduate degree in Forestry Engineering (2008), both from the same institution. She has been a Senior Research Assistant since 2013, advancing her role from Research Assistant (2008–2013).

• Research Focus: Phytocenology, plant community analysis, forest vegetation mapping, and ecological succession.
