Ira Neitzel

Professor Ira Neitzel leads the Research Group for Optimization with Partial Differential Equations at the Institute for Numerical Simulation, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Bonn. Her research focuses on PDE-constrained optimal control problems, numerical analysis, and phase-field fracture modeling. She maintains active collaborations with institutions including TU Darmstadt and Leibniz University Hannover.
