Ioannis G. Theodorakis is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Paris School of Business, a Visiting Affiliate Professor at Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP), and an Affiliate Professor at ALBA Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece. He holds a B.A. in Management and Business Administration from the University of Piraeus, and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Marketing and Communication from Athens University of Economics and Business, where he also conducted postdoctoral research. His research focuses on consumer psychology, marketing strategy, advertising rhetoric, and metaphorical communication in marketing stimuli.
Dr. Theodorakis teaches courses such as Branding, Strategic Marketing, Digital Business, and Marketing Research across multiple institutions. His work explores psychological responses to marketing stimuli, market-driving strategies, and SME resilience during economic crises. He regularly contributes to peer-reviewed journals like Journal of Business Research and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Advertising.
Beyond academia, he co-founded an independent record label specializing in niche music genres and limited vinyl editions. His personal interests include philosophy, art history, marathon running, and traveling.
