Inte' a DeShields

Dr. Inte' a DeShields is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Language Arts at Morgan State University's College of Liberal Arts. She coordinates the Digital Humanities Initiative, bridging technology with critical cultural studies.

• Doctorate in Language, Literacy, and Culture (UMBC)
• MA in Intercultural Communication & Rhetoric (Howard University)
• BA in Speech Communication (Morgan State University)

Her research focuses on sociolinguistics, whiteness studies, and rhetoric, with an emphasis on culturally sustaining pedagogies. She contributes to Africology, digital humanities, and social dialects analysis.
