Inho Suk

Dr. Inho Suk is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Law at the University at Buffalo's School of Management. He holds a PhD from Purdue University and teaches advanced financial accounting, financial statement analysis, and doctoral seminars. Suk's research examines voluntary disclosure practices, earnings management, executive compensation, and the interplay between product markets and capital markets.

His recent work investigates how pay ratio disclosure reforms influence executive compensation structures and how target firm insider trading signals synergy potential in mergers and acquisitions. Suk has published extensively in leading journals including Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, and The Accounting Review, exploring topics ranging from Regulation FD's effects to the relationship between CEO turnover and earnings persistence.

Current research projects examine differential timing incentives in corporate acquisitions, bond versus equity analysts' forecasts, and the implications of earnings management for performance thresholds. Suk maintains affiliations with the American Accounting Association, American Finance Association, and Society for Financial Studies.
