Ingrid Femdal is an Associate Professor at the Department of Nursing, Health and laboratory science, Østfold University College, affiliated with the Faculty of Health and Welfare. She has been employed there since 1997, progressing from University Lecturer to Assistant Professor before achieving her current rank. Her academic background includes a Registered Nurse qualification from Østfold Nursing College (1991), specialization in Mental Health Nursing (1995), and a Master's degree in Nursing Science and Didactics from the University of Oslo (2002).
