Ingrid Buckley

Ingrid Buckley is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing & Software Engineering at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University. Her research focuses on software engineering education, fault-tolerant system design, and cybersecurity, with an emphasis on integrating cybersecurity principles into software development curricula. She is affiliated with the U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering and is a member of professional organizations such as IEEE and ASEE.

Dr. Buckley’s educational background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science, an M.S. in Computer Science, and a B.S. in Computing and Information Technology. Her teaching interests span software testing methodologies, operating systems education, and cybersecurity curriculum design.
