Ingo Schmidt-Lucas serves as Assistant Professor for Recording Technique at the Institute for Music and Media of the Robert Schumann University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf. He has been teaching Recording Technique since 2012 while maintaining an active career as an audio producer and studio owner.

His educational background includes Audio and Video Engineering studies at the Robert Schumann School of Music and Media / University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf, where he completed his studies in 1999 as a graduate engineer with piano as his main subject.
