Inge Rocker is a Professor and senior executive of sustainable Industry Innovation & Transformation at Georgia Institute of Technology. She serves as the founder of the Industry Innovation | Circular Economy Lab (IC2E), a transdisciplinary research lab at Georgia Tech. She previously held roles as Associate and Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University, where she also served as Director of MARCH 1 Admissions, Director of the Digital Workshop Series, and Coordinator of core studios.
Educated at RWTH Aachen (Dipl.-Ing in Engineering), Columbia University (MSAAD), and Princeton University (MA and PhD), Dr. Rocker is a practicing architect with global experience. Co-founder of Rocker-Lange Architect (Boston/Hong Kong), her firm focuses on computer-generated sustainable design across product, architecture, and urban scales. Notable projects include the Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin (with Peter Eisenman) and the Singapore-based 3DEXPERIENCity Smart City Project for Dassault Systèmes as their former Vice President.
Her research emphasizes digital tools for sustainable cross-scale design interventions, circular economy frameworks, and cyber-physical systems integration. Recognized internationally for her work, she frequently presents on sustainable innovation and transformation at academic-industry conferences.
