Ingar Stene

Ingar Stene is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oslo's Department of Archaeology, Conservation and History. He serves as the Administrative Coordinator for the Oslo School of Environmental Humanities (OSEH) and acts as a Study Consultant at both the Department of Cultural Studies and Oriental Languages and the Department of Archaeology, Conservation and History. His research focuses on Climate and Environmental History, the History of Knowledge, Historiography, the Renaissance and Early Modern Period, and Scandinavian/Nordic Studies.

• Bachelor's in History, University of Bergen (2014)

Research Interests: Climate History, Environmental Humanities, Cultural History of Nature, and the intersection of environmental and historical studies in Scandinavia. He contributes to interdisciplinary projects such as the CLIMATE research group on climate, environment, and energy.
