About
Inga Saathoff is a Research Fellow in the Department of Particle and Astroparticle Physics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. Her research focuses on high-energy astrophysics, particularly X-ray pulsars, neutron stars, and expanding into supernova remnants and pulsar wind nebulae. She completed her PhD at the University of Tübingen, developing novel methods for decomposing X-ray pulsar profiles using blind source separation techniques.
She collaborates with Prof. Josefin Larsson and actively participates in international conferences such as the XMM-Newton Science Workshop and the Texas Symposium on Relativistic Astrophysics. Her teaching roles include supervising student projects on X-ray pulsars and contributing to courses like Mathematical Methods in Physics at KTH. She is also engaged in public outreach, including events at the Tekniska Museet in Stockholm.
