Inga Bork

Inga Bork is a Researcher at the Institute for Media Research, University of Rostock, and concurrently serves as Coordinator and Research Associate for the 'Junior Studies' project at the university's Teaching Transfer Center (LTZ). She also holds a freelance Lecturer position at Wismar University of Applied Sciences' Faculty of Design. Previously, she coordinated the Interdisciplinary Faculty I (Department 'Knowledge – Culture – Transformation') at Rostock from 2019-2025 and has managed the 'Uni im Rathaus' interdisciplinary discussion series since 2023.

Her research focuses on media practices and science communication, with specific expertise in:

She holds a part-time Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies/Educational Science and a part-time Bachelor's in Sociology/Communication & Media Studies, both from University of Rostock. With professional experience as a freelance journalist since 2005, she bridges academic and practical media domains.
