About
Inderbir Singh Riar is an architectural historian whose research examines postwar architectural imaginaries, focusing on the relationship between built environments and idealized citizenries. His work spans welfare state architecture in France (notably Toulouse-Le Mirail), democratic reconstruction in West Germany, and mid-century Canadian modernism, with a current book project on Expo 67's architectural significance.
