Inchi Hu is a Professor in the Department of Statistics at George Mason University's College of Engineering and Computing. He holds a PhD in Statistics from Stanford University and has previously served on the faculties of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Maryland. His research focuses on sequential analysis, stochastic control, high-dimensional data analysis, and causal inference, with publications in top-tier journals across statistics, probability, engineering, operations management, and life sciences.
Dr. Hu has received numerous accolades, including Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics and multiple teaching excellence awards. He currently serves as Associate Editor of Statistica Sinica and contributes to initiatives such as graduate admissions, data science-economics programs, and research task forces at Mason. His teaching responsibilities include STAT 535: Analysis of Experimental Data.
