Ina Middelkamp is a Lecturer in Public Administration at the Faculty of Law, University of Groningen. She specializes in administrative law, accountability mechanisms, and decentralized governance. Her research focuses on personal liability of public officials in municipal and provincial contexts.
Education: Completed Juridische Bestuurswetenschappen studies at the University of Groningen (2006). Professional experience includes roles as griffier for municipalities Westerveld and Midden-Drenthe, overseeing council operations and integrity processes.
Research interests span accountability frameworks, integrity in local governance, climate policy implementation, and trends in decentralized democracy. She is currently pursuing an external PhD on public officials' liability in decentralized administrations.
Teaching includes courses on policy analysis, public management, and organizational governance in Dutch and English. Ancillary activities include trainer/coach roles at Dicentis and advisory work for local governments.
