Dr. Ilyas Masih is an Associate Professor of Water Resources Planning at the Department of Water Resources and Ecosystems, IHE Delft Institute for Water Education. His roles include coordinating the MSc Programme in Water Management and Governance (2015–2018) and teaching courses on water resources planning, environmental impact assessment, and drought management. He has extensive experience in hydrological modeling, integrated water resources management, and capacity building across Asia and Africa, including Ethiopia, Pakistan, Iran, and Vietnam.
Dr. Masih holds a PhD from UNESCO-IHE, focused on hydrological variability in semi-arid regions.
