About
Illia Guralskyi is a Senior Research Associate at the Department of Physical Chemistry, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine. He holds a PhD in Chemistry (2012) from the same institution and completed post-doctoral research at the University of Toulouse III (2013) and Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz (2015-2017) under a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship.
Research Interests: His work focuses on spin-crossover (SCO) materials, including the design of chiral SCO complexes with switchable circular dichroism for photonic devices, development of microwave switches using spin-state transitions, and exploration of size effects in SCO nanomaterials. He studies spin-state dependent catalytic activity, enantioselective guest recognition, and polymorphism in Fe(II) complexes.
