Ignazio Cabras

Ignazio Cabras is currently Head of the Accounting and Financial Management Department at Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, with affiliations as Associate Fellow at the York Cross-disciplinary Centre for Systems Analysis (YCCSA) and Research Fellow at the EU*Asia Institute (ESSCA School of Management, France). Previously, he has held academic positions at the universities of York, Edinburgh Napier, and Central Lancashire.

• Research Focus: Economics and environment, regional growth, public sector management, urban-rural dynamics, sustainability, community cohesion, and industry innovation.
• Education: PhD in Economics (2008), MSc in Economics (2004), and BSc (Hons) in Economics (2002).
• Publications: Over 60 works including journal articles, books, and reports, with recent emphasis on craft brewing resilience, environmental justice, and public house impacts on community and economic development.
• Leadership: Vice-President of the Beeronomics Society and active contributor to editorial advisory boards.
