Ignacio Castillo Ulloa

Dr. Ignacio Castillo Ulloa is a Lecturer and Research Associate at the Chair of Urban Design and Urban Development, part of the Institute of Urban and Regional Planning at Technische Universität Berlin. He contributes to the Collaborative Research Centre 1265 "Re-Figuration of Spaces" and coordinates the Global Centre of Spatial Methods for Urban Sustainability (GCSMUS) initiatives at TU Berlin.

His recent publications investigate the evolving spatial knowledge of children and youth, with key themes including urban commons, educational landscapes, and the refiguration of spaces. These works span interdisciplinary perspectives in urban sociology, planning theory, and spatial epistemology.
