Ifan Stephens

Professor Ifan Stephens is a faculty member in the Department of Materials at Imperial College London, part of the Faculty of Engineering. He leads the Interfacial Electrochemistry Group and serves as Research Area Lead at the Henry Royce Institute. His research focuses on electrochemical energy conversion, particularly catalyst design for renewable energy applications, including fuel cells, batteries, and electrochemical synthesis of fuels and chemicals. Stephens previously held roles at DTU (Denmark) and was a visiting associate professor at MIT.
