Ido Baum is an Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Louis Brandeis Institute for Society, Economy, and Democracy at the Haim Striks Faculty of Law, College of Management (COLMAN) in Israel. He previously served as Vice Dean of the law faculty and held visiting roles at institutions such as Peking University School of Transnational Law (Hong Kong) and Georgetown Law Center. His research focuses on corporate governance, securities regulation, civil procedure, law and economics, media law, and antitrust. Baum also contributes regularly as a legal commentator for a leading Israeli financial daily, addressing public policy, corruption, and capital market regulation.
He has taught at international institutions including Hamburg University (Germany) and the Warsaw School of Economics (Poland). His professional activities bridge academic research, legal practice, and public discourse on economic and democratic governance issues.
