Dr. Ibrahim Khot is Assistant Professor in Biochemistry at the University of Bradford's School of Chemistry and Biosciences. He holds a PhD in Medicine and Biology from University of Leeds (2019).
Research develops advanced cancer models including patient-derived organoids for personalized therapy screening. Focus areas include photodynamic therapy optimization, nanomedicine development, and microfluidic platform design for high-throughput drug testing. Current projects examine biofilm impacts in colorectal cancer and implantable LED devices for sustained therapy delivery.
Collaborations span Kyoto University, Kings College London, and ShanghaiTech University. Research funded by NIHR BRC, UKRI EPSRC, Wellcome Trust, and Bowel Cancer UK.
Teaches Clinical Biochemistry and supervises postgraduate research projects.
