Research Interests
Dr. Choucair's research focuses on mass spectrometry applications in clinical toxicology, including opioid detection, drug compliance analysis, and sample contamination diagnostics. He also investigates gut microbiota-mediated metabolism of bile acids and polyphenols in relation to diabetes, obesity, and cardiometabolic diseases.
