Dr. Ian Stavness is a Professor and Department Head in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Saskatchewan. His research focuses on interdisciplinary applications of computer science, including deep learning in agriculture, biomedical computation, and 3D display technologies. He leads the Biological Imaging & Graphics (BIGLAB) laboratory, which develops tools for plant phenotyping and musculoskeletal modeling.
