Dr. Ian Roper is a Reader in Organisation Studies and Human Resource Management at the University of Essex's Essex Business School. With a PhD from the University of Glasgow, his career includes leadership roles such as Head of the OSHRM Group and Associate Director of Education. His research examines public service reforms, agile/hybrid working, employment regulation, HR professionalism, and modern slavery in supply chains.
