Ian Robinson is a Lecturer and Associate Research Scientist at the University of Michigan, affiliated with the Department of Sociology and the Residential College's Social Theory and Practice program. His work focuses on neoliberal economic restructuring, labor movements, and strategies for rebuilding union power in North America.
Robinson has participated in the CRIMT research network and held leadership positions in LEO (Lecturer Employees' Organization) and the Huron Valley Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO.
