Dr. Ian Rice is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) Saint John. His career includes frontline child welfare work supporting vulnerable families. Educated at St. Thomas University (BSW), York University (MSW), and UNB (PhD), he emphasizes social work as a transformative lifestyle.
