Dr. Ian Marius Peters is a physicist and group leader of 'High-Throughput Characterization and Modeling for PV' at the Helmholtz Institute Erlangen Nuremberg for Renewable Energy (HI-ERN). With over 20 years of experience in photovoltaics (PV) research and more than 300 publications, he is a globally recognized expert in PV technology. His career spans leadership roles at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE), the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
