Dr Ian Locke is an Assistant Head of School (Research and Knowledge Exchange) at the University of Westminster's School of Life Sciences. He holds a Senior Lecturer position in Biomedical Sciences and leads research on connective tissue biology and tissue repair. Previously, he earned a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences and a PhD in protein biochemistry from the University of Portsmouth, followed by postdoctoral research at University College London (UCL) in rheumatology and gene expression.
