Ian Lewis

Ian Lewis holds the position of Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) at Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HVA), where he also serves as Community Project Lead. Additionally, he works as a Lecturer/Researcher at AMSIB (CEDIS). He is an External PhD Candidate at the Amsterdam School of Historical Studies, Universiteit van Amsterdam (2021–2026). His research focuses on topics such as imperial rule, representation systems in parliamentary structures, East Asian history (particularly China and Japan), and architectural studies within historical contexts.

Recent professional activities include organizing conferences like 'The Majors' (2024), 'Women in Leadership Panel Discussions' (2022–2023), and delivering invited talks on themes like 'Why I get up and go to work at AUAS' (2023) and 'Social Safety in Higher Education' (2023).
