Ian Gilmour

Dr. Ian Gilmour is a Principal Investigator and Branch Chief at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Center for Public Health and Environmental Assessment in Research Triangle Park, NC. He holds adjunct faculty positions at the UNC School of Public Health and NC State Veterinary School, contributing to their toxicology and environmental medicine programs.

Dr. Gilmour's research focuses on pulmonary immunobiology, investigating how air pollutant exposure interacts with the development of infectious and allergic lung diseases. He has been affiliated with the EPA since completing his post-doctoral training at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and the EPA itself.
