Ian Eagleson

Ian Eagleson is an experienced college instructor affiliated with Antioch University as an Affiliate Faculty in the Department of Philosophy under Undergraduate Studies. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of California, San Diego, with additional doctoral work at Princeton University, and a BA (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Williams College. His teaching career spans multiple institutions, including Wesley College, University of New Mexico, Simon’s Rock College of Bard, and others.

Dr. Eagleson’s research and teaching focus on the philosophy of Immanuel Kant, early modern philosophy, and epistemology, with secondary concentrations in ethics and political philosophy. He is particularly engaged in curriculum design, emphasizing course alignment, competency development, and enhanced assessment criteria.
