ISABEL OLIMPIA FIGUEIREDO DOS SANTOS

Isabel Olimpia Figueiredo dos Santos is an Assistant Professor at Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies in the School of Psychology and Life Sciences. She holds a PhD in Psychology from ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon, a Master’s in Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and a degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Lusófona University.

• Research interests: Psychology, Mental Health, Eating Behavior, Evolutionary Psychology

Her recent publications focus on mental health stigma reduction through arts-based interventions, workplace health innovations, and psychometric scale development. She has contributed to projects like WeARTolerance and Stand Up for Healthy Aging (SUFHA).

Key collaborations include work with the HEI-Lab - Digital Human-Environment Interaction Lab, engaging in interdisciplinary research with 36 collaborators. She received the Best Oral Communication Award (2024) for her work on mental health stigma.
