Assoc. Prof. Dr. ȘTEFAN-ALEXANDRU IONESCU is an economist-analyst specializing in cybernetics and economic forecasting. He holds a PhD in 'Cybernetics and Economic Statistics' (2011) from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and completed postdoctoral studies at the Romanian Academy with a research internship at the University of Manchester. With 17+ years in higher education, he has been Head of the Department of Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics at the Romanian-American University since 2005 and Dean of the Faculty of Domestic and International Tourism Economics since May 2020. He is also an associate professor at the University of Bucharest and a member of the Romanian-American University’s Board of Directors.
