Hyoju Kim

Hyoju Kim serves as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the McMurray Laboratory within the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa, contributing to the department's research mission in cognitive and developmental neuroscience through experimental design and data analysis.

Her research interests focus on Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Behavioral Neuroscience, examining neural and cognitive mechanisms underlying human development through interdisciplinary approaches that integrate behavioral methodologies with neuroimaging techniques to understand learning and memory processes across the lifespan.

As a key member of the McMurray Lab, Dr. Kim collaborates on cutting-edge research within the university's robust neuroscience ecosystem, which includes the Iowa Neuroscience Institute and multiple specialized research groups spanning Cognitive Control, Developmental Psychopathology, and Visual Perception.
