Dr. Hye-Young Jung is an Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College's Department of Population Health Sciences. Her research focuses on clinical workforce organization in nursing homes, telehealth implementation, and care quality for elderly residents, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her work examines SNFist physicians' impact on resident outcomes, telehealth utilization trends, and policy responses to pandemic challenges in long-term care facilities. Current projects include analyzing REIT investments in nursing homes and advanced provider care models for dementia patients.
She founded Weill Cornell's Master of Science program in Health Policy and Economics and continues to teach Introduction to US Healthcare Policy and Delivery.
