Hunter Riley

Hunter Riley is a Graduate Lecturer in Writing and Rhetoric within the English Department at George Mason University. As a second-year doctoral student in Writing and Rhetoric, he teaches courses in Technical Communications, User Experience, and Professional Writing. Mr. Riley has transitioned from a graduate teaching assistant to a faculty position, aiming to enhance his research and pedagogical methodologies.

Education:

• M.A. in English with Technical Communication and User Experience Certificates from University of Alabama in Huntsville
• B.A. in Economics from University of Miami

His instructional focus bridges technical writing practices with user-centered design principles. Current research interests include pedagogical innovation in rhetoric and composition. No publications, students, or awards are reported at this early career stage.

Office hours are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
