Hunter Marston

Hunter Marston is a PhD candidate in International Relations at the Australian National University and an Adjunct Research Fellow at La Trobe University, with additional affiliation as an Associate at 9DashLine.

His educational background includes Master's degrees in Southeast Asia Studies and Public Administration from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor's degree from Skidmore College.

Marston's research centers on International Relations with specialized expertise in Southeast Asian Politics, China-Southeast Asia Relations, Maritime Security, and Foreign Policy Decision Making. He regularly publishes analysis on Southeast Asian geopolitics and U.S. foreign policy strategies across major platforms.
