Hung Phan is an Associate Professor and Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UML). He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Wayne State University (2011) and a B.S. in Mathematics from Can Tho University, Vietnam. His research focuses on mathematical optimization, operations research, variational analysis, and convex analysis, with applications in algorithm design and computational mathematics.
