Hung Nguyen

Hung Nguyen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His primary research focuses on stochastic analysis and stochastic differential equations, with particular emphasis on stochastic partial differential equations and their applications in mathematical physics and statistical mechanics.

Education: Ph.D. in Mathematics from Tulane University (2018), supervised by Scott McKinley. Prior postdoctoral positions include Assistant Adjunct Professor at UCLA (2019-2023) under Don Blasius and Georg Menz, and a postdoc at Iowa State University (2018) under David Herzog.

Research Interests: Stochastic processes, ergodic theory, and asymptotic analysis of stochastic systems. Current work explores invariant measures, mixing rates, and long-time behavior in models such as the Langevin equation, hydrodynamic pilot-wave theory, and relativistic dynamics.
