Hung Nguyen

Hung Nguyen is a Lecturer in Digital Journalism at Goldsmiths, University of London since 2017. He previously worked at the BBC for over a decade, holding roles such as Social Media Editor, Digital Editor for international language services, and Digital/Social Media Trainer for BBC Radio 4 News. His expertise includes digital content strategy and audience engagement across web, Facebook, and YouTube platforms.

Nguyen holds an MA in Digital Media: Technology & Cultural Form from Goldsmiths (2013) and is pursuing a PhD in the same institution. His teaching focuses on BA Journalism practice modules while also advising MA students on social media analytics.

Research interests revolve around digital media strategies, journalism innovation, and the intersection of technology with cultural communication. He actively bridges academic research with industry practices through his professional background and pedagogy.
