Hui Li

Hui Li is an Assistant Professor of Soil Chemistry in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences at North Carolina State University (NC State), located in Raleigh, NC. She holds a Ph.D. in Soil Science from the University of Delaware (2013–2018) and completed postdoctoral research at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (2019–2021) and the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2018–2019). Her research focuses on soil carbon dynamics, mineral-organic matter interactions, and advanced analytical methods like spectroscopy and chromatography to enhance soil carbon sequestration strategies. This work addresses global environmental challenges by improving understanding of terrestrial carbon cycling across soil, water, and atmospheric systems.
