Hubert Pöppel

Hubert Pöppel is an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Romance Studies, University of Regensburg, and Managing Director of the Research Center Spain since 2007. His career spans roles at Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena, Universidad de Antioquia, and guest lectureships in Germany and Colombia.

Key scientific awards include the Cusanuswerk Doctoral Scholarship. He has supervised editorial teams for Estudios de Literatura Colombiana (1998-2002) and co-founded the Centro de Estudios Hispánicos at Regensburg.
