Hsin-I Chang is an Assistant Research Professor and Director of the Center for Applied Hydroclimate Sciences at the University of Arizona. She holds a Ph.D. in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences from Purdue University (2009). Her expertise includes regional climate modeling, downscaling, climate projection, weather extremes, and land-atmosphere interactions.
Chang's research employs advanced climate modeling techniques to analyze extreme weather events and climate patterns, particularly in arid regions. She has led numerous studies on subseasonal forecasting and climate change impacts.
