Howard Barker

Howard Barker is an Adjunct Professor at McMaster University's School of Earth, Environment & Society. His work focuses on atmospheric radiative transfer and cloud modeling for climate science applications.

• Research Interests: Atmospheric radiative transfer, cloud and aerosol interactions, climate modeling, EarthCARE satellite mission, remote sensing, and numerical weather prediction.
• Publication Trends: Recent articles emphasize EarthCARE mission data analysis, 3D cloud modeling, radiative flux evaluation, and aerosol-cloud interactions. Earlier works cover broadband solar fluxes, two-stream approximations, and cloud absorption studies.
